Neon Cat Liner

The cat eye liner trend is an all time classic that gives you sexy, bold eyes. With spring here, this classic eye look has gotten a little makeover with a pop of colour. This look can be achieved with or without extending the liner to your inner corners, but if you really want that cat eye effect definitely line it out and shape to your desired cat eye effect.
Achieve this looking using either Shisiedo’s Kajal Ink Artist, Microliner Ink or bareminerals Mineralist Eyeliners. These pencil liners have a creamy formula, allowing for smooth application without tugging or pulling. The best part, they are long-wear and highly pigmented, so worry less, these baddies will keep you slaying all day!

Bejeweled Eye

This look has been trending ever since the release of Euphoria. It may not be a new trend but it’s been popping (quite literally) up everywhere and we aren’t mad about it. This fun bejewelled eye look may not be for everyone but if you are looking to step up your eye game, this look is just for you.
To achieve this look try one of Bodyography’s Glitter Pigments for an added sparkle and to create your base/shape. Grab your lash glue and your favourite jewels of any shape or size and apply away! Make sure you use a tweezer for accurate application.
Some of our favourite jewel placements are the inner corners – for something more toned down – along the lash line or underneath the brows. If you are looking for the ultimate festival or concert look, this eye-catching trend is it!

Split Double Winged Eyeliner

Euphoria has been an inspiration in many of these looks, they’ve set such a trend and honestly, we are so happy they did. I mean the eyes are the heart to the soul, and our soul is fun, playful and flirty.
Achieve this look with a fine point eyeliner for precision like Shiseido’s Microliner Ink in Black or if you are liquid gal, Bodyography’s On Point Liquid Liner Pen. Line your upper lash line and extend out into a cat eye to your desired shape. Then line your lower lash line, extending into a wing and parallel to the top line. To really define your look and make your double liner pop, add white between the two lines, or if you are feeling a bit more daring add a bright colour of your choice.

Negative Space Eyeliner

This trend is a fun one and tests your liner skills. So, if you are feeling more on the artsy side then try out this negative space eyeliner look. This look allows for creative flexibility to do what you want with really no guidelines or limitations, heck, you can even do uneven, abstract designs if you really wanted too. The design is in your hands so free reign to your heart’s desire.
You can achieve this with either a liquid or pencil eyeliner in any shade you please. If you want something more detailed, go for a fine point pencil like Shiseido’s Microliner Ink or Ink Artist – personally we love the Ink Artist. You want to look for an eyeliner that has a creamy consistency to avoid tugging and for easier application, then grab a fine point or angled brush for definition and shape.
If you can’t find the right eyeliner, go for an eyeshadow! Yes, besties you can use your eyeshadow as an eyeliner. Simply wet your eyeliner brush with water, but we prefer a facial or setting spray like Bodyography’s Ready, Set, Go Setting Spray. This helps the shadow stay in place and intensifies the pigmentation. If you are feeling playful and vibrant, Bodyography’s Expressions Vivid Bright Palette contains all the bright colours and finishes to match your personality.

Inner Eye Accents

If you contain no eyeliner skills but still want a pop of colour, add a vibrant shadow to your inner corners - sparkle, matte, metallic, choose your finish to your heart’s desire. This look pairs very well with a natural face and or bold lips to match your inner corner colour. If you really want to step it up a notch, add a jewel in the inner corners as your piece de resistance.
For long-lasting colour use either Shiseido’s Pop PowderGel Eye Shadow or Bodyography’s Stylist Crayon, for easier and faster application.

Defined, Laminated Brows

Brow shapes are forever changing, from thin to bold, the newest trend is full defined brows. This look provides a more natural looking brow shape with hair like strokes while laying the brows down for a fuller shape.
First you want to shape your brow hairs to your desired fullness, to achieve this grab a brow gel like bareminerals Strength & Length Serum-Infused Brow Gel or a brow soap like Lashforever’s Style Brow X Revive7 and shape with a brush. Once you’ve laid the hairs down, grab a very fine tip brow pencil and gently create hair-like strokes, following the natural growth of the lashes. As you work your hair strokes in, use a spoolie to blend out any harsh lines and to set the shape.
If you are in the search for a multi-faceted brow pencil, Shisieido’s Brow Ink Trio is your literal brow god. This retractable brow pencil features an ultra-fine point on one end, a featherweight powder with a sponge tip applicator in the middle and a built in spoolie on the other end – the perfect go-to brow pencil to shape and define your brows everywhere you go.
